Your transfer to Vodafone's usually done and dusted within 3 business hours, which are counted as 0800 - 2000 AEST Monday to Friday, and 1000 to 1800 AEST on Saturdays. There's more info on porting to Vodafone here.
At the moment we're not aware of any issues involved in porting numbers over from Aldi, so you should expect a smooth process.

That sure is possible, but you'll need to purchase a recharge within 90 days to make sure that your number stays active. Yes. Receiving calls and TXT isn't charged, so you'll still be able to use those services without grabbing a recharge. Just a heads up that there is a fee involved in receiving calls when you're overseas.

Postpaid and prepaid numbers do need to be on separate My Vodafone accounts, so you'll need two logins. Once your prepaid service is active, you can jump online and register for My Vodafone.

You're not able to activate your service straight onto a 365 Day recharge option, but not to worry. All you need to do is pick either of the other two options then, when you go to grab your recharge, you can change to the 365 Day option by following these steps.i need a phone and a 2$sim
